1915 (b)/(c) Waivers

A lot of you have had great questions about the state implementation of the 1915 (b)/(c) waiver. We have tried to answer them as best we can and seek answers from Division leadership during this process. The Division of Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities/Substance Abuse Services is working on a series of fact sheets to help people understand more about the waivers. They will be posted in the Communications Bulletins on their website. We will update the blog and the NASW-NC website as they are posted.

The first three fact sheets are linked below:

1) What is the 1915 (b)/(c) Medicaid waiver?
2) How is NC implementing the Waiver?
3) Why are Local Management Entities merging?

Please continue to contact us with your questions and concerns as we address the waiver implementation in Coalitions and state-wide meetings.
