Clinical Social Work Summer Institute

Clinical Social Work Summer Institute registration is OPEN!

The 15th Annual Clinical Institute is designed to provide the opportunity for clinicians to receive intensive training in a variety of practice areas. The program is geared toward clinical social workers from all areas of practice including private practice, education systems, and agencies. Topics vary greatly in content and include issues such as substance abuse, LGBTQA issues, EAP practice and more.  Additionally, there is free time for participants to relax and explore Wilmington and its surrounding beaches.Attendees will receive 20 hours of continuing education, and up to 8 social work ethics hours.

Sessions vary in length and structure. The sessions will be either 2 or 4 hours in length. Following the Institute, attendees will take with them new ideas, knowledge, and the skills to implement them, thus enhancing their professional skills and areas of specialization.

Clinical Institute is held at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside in Historic Downtown Wilmington on the Cape Fear River; within walking distance from many unique and charming shops, restaurants, and cultural/historical attractions; and just minutes from the beautiful, sandy North Carolina Beaches. This conference will include workshops for both advanced and beginning clinical social workers and will include opportunities for Ethics Continuing Education.
